What makes a good book, good?

The story. The illustrations. The book design.
If any one of these three things is lacking, you’re going to have a tough time selling your book.

My approach to cover design is like taking reContact page.d and yellow… and making orange. I take your story and your illustrations and I help them complement one another. I look at the mood, the message, the illustrations and I design for the book. To make it the best it can be. If it’s playful, the book design reflects that. If it’s magical, it reflects that. If it’s more serious, it reflects that. The point of good book design, in my opinion, is to create a well designed book where each one of the three important components (story, illustrations and book design) are balanced.
